There are two grid sets to choose between to support a wide range of strengths and needs. Aphasia duo 9 and duo 16.

0:16– Similarities
There are lots of similarities between them. Both of them are designed to support with communication in everyday life, in meaningful situations and conversations.

But there are also some key differences.
0:39– Duo 9
Duo 9 has larger cells with 9 communication cells per grid, which can be easier for those with more significant physical, visual or cognitive difficulties. There is also less vocabulary.

0:51– Duo 16
Duo 16 has smaller cells with up to 16 communication cells per grid, so there’s a lot more to be looking at.
There are also some additional tools to support with sentence building conversations and more supports for people who have word finding difficulties, which is really common in aphasia.

1:08– Access Methods
Both of them are designed primarily for touch access, and both of them can be used with a keycard, but they can also be used with alternative access, such as eye gaze or pointer.
