In this lesson we’ll look at speaking using the keyboard page in Communicator 5. 

1. From the Communicator 5 home screen, select “Speak”.
2. You’ll be brought to the keyboard page that has been set up for you. Your keyboard may look different from the one shown in this video. That’s ok. We’ll use this keyboard to show you some of the functions available.
3. To type a word or phrase, look at the letter you wish to type and use a switch or dwell to make a selection.
4. Select letters in turn to type a word or phrase.
5. To speak the text, activate the “Speak” button.
