On the standard communication keyboard on Communicator 5, we will see a button called “My phrases”. This feature allows you to manage and categorize all your pre-saved messages.
On the left side of the screen, select one of the categories, and on the right side one of the phrases.
To add a new phrase, first decide on a category to add it to. Select the category on the left side of the screen. Once the category is selected, we can use the edit button (pencil icon) located on the left side.
Next use the plus button on the right side to open the keyboard and type in the new phrase.Press the green confirmation button located on the bottom right side to save the phrase.
To add a new category, use the edit button, but this time press the plus button on the left side.
To organize phrases and categories, use the button with three dots located on the bottom right corner of the screen. The buttons on the left side are for the categories and the buttons on the right side are for the phrases.
The phrase editor button allows you to edit the existing words in the button. On the Phrase Editor, make sure the phrase or category you want to edit is highlighted before you edit it.
The bold arrows allow you to change the category or phrase position up or down.
